Sarah Kessler is the College and Career Advisor at one of the top 100 ranked public high schools in the nation and has experience serving students from Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick counties, as well as D.C. private schools. Offering customized, one-on-one college advising sessions focusing on each student's individual needs, including, but not limited to:

1. Course selection, addressing benefits of AP classes vs. Dual Enrollment

2. Creating a targeted, balanced college list

3. Establishing a timeline and enforcing deadlines

4. Guidance on completing the Common Application

5. Essay topic selection, writing and editing

6. Requesting letters of recommendation and transcripts

7. Completing STARS (the Self-reported Transcript & Academic Record System)

8. Deciding whether or not to submit test scores

Following submission, the focus shifts to financial aid, scholarships, and weighing merit offers. Students receive continuous guidance for a seamless process.
